IAS Dominates North West PRide Awards

PRide Awards 08

IAS B2B Public Relations has taken this year’s prestigious CIPR North West PRide awards by storm, scooping more awards than any other agency in the region.

IAS, also crowned the UK’s best B2B PR agency at the B2B Marketing Awards earlier this month, was nominated in nine categories and won an impressive three golds and one silver, proving they are a real force to be reckoned with.

Lucy Bridle, Director of PR comments: “Its official, B2B is the new black. And at last the industry is coming round to the same realisation.  With its roots at the heartland of manufacturing, UK trade and commerce, B2B PR has to work very hard right now, and as such is producing some exceptionally thought-provoking and original campaigns.

“The B2B Public Relations and communications sector is a hotbed of talent and it’s high time we gave the generalist and consumer agencies a run for their money. IAS is a fluff-free zone and we’re flying the flag.”

IAS won Gold in the ‘Corporate Communications’ category for a high profile, results-driven regional PR recruitment campaign - ‘Jobs for the Girls.’ The judges commented that the IAS demonstrated “clearly defined objectives and a well thought out creative campaign that significantly exceeded client objectives.”

IAS’s anti-cliché book campaign to free B2B marketing of tired ideas was awarded Gold for ‘Best Use of Photography or Design’. The judges confirmed: “A big Yes for this entry's freshness. An overdue thought provoker that should help to inspire designers to strive for originality.”

IAS also took Gold for ‘Best Website or Microsite’ for Innervision, a highly targeted web-based campaign. The judges were impressed with the level of detail, segmentation and creativity that was used in this campaign.

The fourth IAS award was Silver for the ‘Business and Trade’ category. The judges’ commented: “It more than delivered against objectives, exceeding expectations in a defined time period.”

IAS is now in a very strong position to go on to face other regional champions from across Britain in the national PRide awards early in 2009.
